Karethens Nursery is looking for pedagogues who love the outdoors and play

Deepening play in outdoor life and calm for indoor life are our focus. Does that sound like something for you? We are currently seeking educators for the nursery.

About the job You will become part of a wonderful nursery, where you together with the educators in the nursery help create a good, playful and educational day for the children. From your first day you will be involved in our small groups on the playground, in the forest and on trips to the train and other places in our local area :-)

You will have ample opportunity to develop professionally within the pedagogical disciplines that interest you, as we are a very versatile house that can create a calm yet dynamic daily life for the children and the educational staff.

Karethen consists of a forest kindergarten with 42 children, with 4 educators, 2 assistants, 22 nursery children with 2 educators and 2 assistants distributed over 2 rooms and a kitchen maid. Karethen is part of Holte's area of 7 kindergartens.

About you Maybe you have experience from a nursery? Maybe you are a recent graduate? As long as you feel that this is where you want to use your competencies, the most important thing is that you:

• are focused on the well-being, development and participation opportunities of the little children
• have an eye for the importance of relationships
• take professional responsibility and contribute actively to the pedagogical development
• are curious about your own practice and thrive on reflection and sparring
• want to be part of a work community where we help each other.

If you have a particular interest in, for example, nature, music, movement or another pedagogical area, then it is a strength we would like to bring into play.

About Karethen House

• You will join a kindergarten that places great emphasis on the professional (the learning community). We are good at creating a safe everyday life for everyone, and we are open to ideas for the daily life we give our children.
• You will meet a staff group that has been here for many years and who place emphasis on good collaboration with the parents.

We work with the care angle; the care angle means how we support the child in their development. In 2026 we will work with slow pedagogy where play is central. Together with the 7 other houses in the Holte area we start the year with a joint briefing for all staff.

Terms of employment The position is, as a rule, full-time and starts 1/1-27, but we are ready to wait for the right person. Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
