As an apprentice at the Defence Canteens you will get

We are seeking both gastronomy apprentices and nutrition assistant apprentices – also adult apprentices or those who want a “New Master Apprenticeship” program. With us you become part of an informal community where we work closely together and support each other.

Employment terms

Employment is governed by the applicable Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisations – The State Sector (OAO-S Joint Agreement) and the organizational agreement for costfactual trained personnel – kitchen, entered into between the Ministry of Finance, CO10 - Central Organisation of 2010 and the Professional Public Federation (3F).

There is an employer-financed pension scheme linked to the position.

The workplace is in Tinglev in Aabenraa.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special conditions. You must, among other things, be able to obtain and maintain security clearance throughout the employment.

As an employee you have a duty to render service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.

About Establishment and Field Command

The Establishment and Field Command (ETK) supports and serves military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to provide and develop attractive physical premises that are necessary for their daily work.

We build new, maintain, run canteens and clean at service locations nationwide.

We have on behalf of the Defence Ministry's group the responsibility for the green area, which includes environment, energy and nature care.

Our headquarters are in Hjørring, but we have employees all over the country. We are a total of 1600 employees, counting both civilian and military staff. We are an organization based on strong professional communities, and we place high priority on cross-disciplinary collaboration.
