🍎 Kitchen worker wanted at Klax Greve, integrated institution

Do you enjoy creating meals that are both appealing in appearance and taste great – and do you also have a sense of order, hygiene and a kitchen that looks great when the day is over?

Then it might be you we are looking for.

At Klax Greve we are seeking a kitchen assistant for a position of 20–25 hours per week . The position is initially a temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment .

A kitchen where the good meal is at the center

You will become part of a nice and well-functioning kitchen, where the meals for the children are supplied by Fru Hansens Kælder , which runs an organic and healthy lunch program for day-care centers.

That means you won't have to do large-scale cooking from scratch. Instead we receive meal boxes with partially prepared ingredients and dishes that are easy to prepare.

Your task will be to make the last touches happen.

You will prepare the food, make it appetising and inviting for the children, and ensure that the meals are served with joy and care.

It's not just about putting food on the table. It's also about creating good meal experiences for the children.

You have an eye for detail

When the day’s meal is served, you ensure the kitchen is once again clean, tidy and inviting .

You work in a structured way and have the sense that everything is in place so that the next day’s preparations can begin when you come in again.

We therefore expect that you

• have a valid hygiene certificate
• can work independently and in a structured way
• have a sense of order, cleanliness and food safety
• can make the food appealing and appetising
• take responsibility for ensuring the kitchen functions well on a daily basis
• meet children and colleagues with a smile and a positive attitude

-And of course you must like children

You don’t need to be a pedagogue to work with us.

But if you think children are fantastic and you want to be part of their everyday life, then it’s a very good match.

At Klax the kitchen is also part of the educational environment. The children should be able to feel that the food is made for them – and perhaps you’ll also be the one who has a quick chat with a child who just comes by the kitchen.
