Club educator for gaming and sport

Club Cassiopeia seeks a qualified school- and leisure-time educator who is passionate about relational work through e-sports, gaming, sport and play

We are looking for a qualified school educator who is passionate about working with children/youth through gaming, sport and play. The position is 34 hours, with start no later than December 1, 2026.

Cassiopeia is a large after-school and youth club in the Municipality of Frederiksberg with good

physical facilities spread over 3 floors and an outdoor area. We are a large house with 25 employees, which gives us the opportunity to work with many different pedagogical tasks while maintaining a high professional level. There is room to breathe and a “no” is rarely used.

At Cassiopeia, children and pedagogy always come first, so you do not need to be an expert in either computer games, 3D design or rounders. However, you must be able to see the pedagogical possibilities in a digital and physical learning space and how it can create the path to relationships. In Frederiksberg, we introduced new screen principles in 2024, which are also the principles we work from throughout the club.

For us, the most important task for a pedagogue is to work with social learning, relationships, resilience

and formation. We do this through our daily activities, such as sport & play, theatre, e-sports, riding, role-playing, music and creative workshops, which are a fixed part of the club’s culture and offerings. You will primarily have your pedagogical work in our media team, but as a club it means a lot to us that you are part of the whole house and get the opportunity to challenge your relationships in other workshops.

Since Cassiopeia is a club with many children and youths, inclusion, community, relationships and formation are key concepts in the pedagogical work. Inclusivity, flexibility and collaboration are a prerequisite for it to succeed.

As an employee at Cassiopeia, you are also part of Lindevang School and you will therefore alternate between two workplaces. At the school, you will be an important part of the general education, where you will work based on the co-teaching principles in collaboration with the teaching team.

• That you are a trained pedagogue or other relevant education.
• Ability to adapt and relate to two workplaces in a busy everyday life.

It can be an advantage if

• You have experience with and interest in Media, Gaming, sport and play etc.
• You can create pedagogical processes and relationships through both physical and media activities.

The working hours will primarily be club time with one evening shift per week. There will also be weekend work in connection with camps, trips, etc.
