About the position

You will be responsible for the daily production of both cold and hot buffets and ensure that the food is of high quality, tastes good and is beautifully presented – in close cooperation with your colleagues.

• Your fixed workplace is The Defence Medical Command, Sylbækvej 10, 8230 Åbyhøj
• The position is 37 hours per week.
• Your working hours will primarily be in the period 06:00-14:00. Evening and weekend work occurs.
• Evening and weekend work will occur.

You must be able to present an apprenticeship certificate as a gastronomy professional with specialization as chef, caterer, nutrition assistant or another relevant professional education.

You must hold a valid category B driving license and maintain it throughout the entire employment process.

Employment terms

The employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organization – The Public Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the wage agreement for kitchen staff personnel – kitchen entered into between the Ministry of Taxation, CO10 - Central Organization of 2010 and the Professional Joint Union (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and skills, there is the possibility of negotiating allowances. There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Åbyhøj

As an employee under the Defence Ministry’s area you are subject to some special terms. You must, among other things, be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance during the entire employment period.

You as an employee have a duty to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.

About Establishment and Terrain Command

The Establishment and Terrain Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Defence Ministry. Our task is to deliver and develop attractive physical frameworks that are necessary for their daily work.

We build new, maintain, run canteens and clean at service sites across the country.

On behalf of the Defence Ministry’s group we are responsible for the green area, which among others includes the environment, energy and nature care.
