ABOUT US

• Café Møltrup, located in Vildbjerg midway between Herning and Holstebro, is a very ordinary and at the same time quite special cafe.
• At Café Møltrup we make quality food from scratch, with a large part of our ingredients coming from Møltrup Intake Home's own animals and slaughterhouse.
• Møltrup Intake Home is a home for 113 homeless men who wish to live in a drug-free environment. It is a home where men who have fallen on hard times and who, for shorter or longer periods, need support in their lives can find help to get their lives back on track.
• Some of the men from Møltrup help run the cafe, and in addition there is a daily manager and a wonderful group of employees, some of whom are part-time.
• Møltrup is part of the diaconal work of the Danish Church, and it is expected that all employees – volunteers as well as paid staff – work from a Christian foundation.

ABOUT YOU

• You are passionate about food, people and cafe work
• You want to work together with Møltrup's residents and have a eye for ensuring they have a good day
• You have experience from cafes, large kitchens, or similar and preferably a kitchen-related education, e.g. nutrition assistant, chef or similar.
• You thrive in a job where sometimes it moves quickly
• You are prepared that the job includes evening and Saturday work (every 3rd Saturday until 14:30)
• You are structured and can maintain an overview, even in a busy day
• You are flexible and positively inclined, and you thrive in an environment where every day is different.
• You are an engaged, caring person who meets your fellow human with curiosity and at eye level.
• You have a calm body language and are in good contact with your own nervous system
• You contribute to a good collegial community – both socially and professionally

PRACTICAL DETAILS

Your working hours in two out of three weeks will be Tuesday to Friday, where you have one to two evening shifts until 19:30 or 20:30.

In week 3, Saturday is included in the hours 8-14:30

You always have holidays between Christmas and New Year, in Easter week and always three weeks of summer vacation.

You have time off on all public holidays
