The Lillebælt Hospital Kitchen in Middelfart, is seeking a Café assistant for the Café located in the Psychiatric Department in Middelfart.

We are looking for a new colleague in a permanent position of 37 hours (fewer hours can be agreed), with start as soon as possible and no later than 1.1.2027.

A Café as part of a larger kitchen across

• The café is located inside the Psychiatric Department in Middelfart, and serves the residents who live there.
• The tasks will be selling kiosk items, serving food and cleaning in the café.
• You will be part of a small two-person team who on all weekdays serve the Café in the time period 7.00 – 19.19. You take turns opening and closing the Café. You will only work on a few holidays per year. Weekends are fixed days off.
• The Café team are colleagues with the kitchen staff at Middelfart Nærhospital, which is also a small team that helps each other in daily life. They cover in the Café during holidays, etc. Meetings across the kitchen at Middelfart Nærhospital and the Café are also held.
• We warmly welcome you and will arrange thorough training to help you settle into the tasks.

• You may have experience in serving, cooking or working with people.
• You are service-minded and want, together with a colleague, to manage the daily operation of the Café.
• You are good at communicating and collaborating with different people.
• You are independent, stable and loyal, have a good drive – and come to work with a smile.
• You are willing to work in an organization across multiple sites with exciting and varied tasks, and small and large communities.
• Your private life is compatible with early and late shifts, and you can adapt to the uneven hours.
