Communications specialist with a passion for dissemination

Can you spot the good stories, convey them so they create value for customers, colleagues and Bornholm – and have them told in the right places? We are seeking an experienced communications specialist who is passionate about sharp communication, strong stories and professional press work. You are motivated to develop communications that strengthen our brand and reputation, and you master the discipline from the first idea to the finished article, campaign, customer communication, press story or newsletter.

About the role

You will become part of the communications team and take a central role in work to strengthen BEOF's visibility, relationships and reputation.

The role spans from customer communication, campaigns and content production to PR and press work. You get great freedom to drive your own initiatives and leave your mark on the communication in a company with an important role on Bornholm.

Your responsibilities and tasks

You will be responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication across BEOF, so our messages and efforts support the company's goals, relationships and position.

A large part of your work involves creating communication that gives customers a better understanding of our products, projects and role on Bornholm. You work with both content production, campaigns, customer communication and press work and follow the tasks from idea to finished result.

Your tasks include among others

• Customer-facing communication to existing and potential customers
• Communication about BEOF's products, supply, energy and the green transition
• Planning and execution of campaigns and communication efforts across channels
• Production of content for web, newsletters, intranet and other communication channels
• Press work, press releases, media contact and proactive PR
• Sales materials and commercial communication
• Internal communication that creates understanding and engagement
• Corporate communication that strengthens BEOF's brand and reputation

Your background and competencies

We imagine you have a background in communication, journalism, marketing or a related field. You have a broad communications profile and solid experience in developing and producing communication across media, platforms and target groups.

What matters is not your education but that you have experience in understanding complex issues and translating them into communication that creates value for customers, colleagues and the business.

You are a strong communicator with a confident linguistic craft and the ability to translate complex topics into clear and engaging communication. You have experience with press work and media contacts and can work proactively with PR and professionally with press inquiries.

You naturally think communications across target groups, channels and business and understand how strong communication supports brand, reputation and the company's strategic direction.

You take responsibility for your tasks, work independently and thrive on driving communication initiatives from idea to finished result. At the same time you are curious, proactive and good at building relationships across the organization to find the stories, knowledge and perspectives that make the communication relevant and value-creating.

You contribute positively to collaboration in the team and across the organization and thrive with the freedom and responsibility that come with the role.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the utilities sector, energy area or other essential companies, but it is not a requirement.

Organizationally you will report to the Head of Sales and Communications.

Your workplace will primarily be our office on Skansevej in Rønne. The position is a permanent full-time employment.
