Dietary professional sought for Søvangen

We are looking for a dietetics-trained employee who wants to be in charge of the kitchen and create meals that bring joy to our residents.

You will have your own kitchen

You will work alone in the kitchen and therefore have an important and independent role in daily life. You plan and prepare the food and have an eye for both quality, nutrition and the practical tasks surrounding the meals.

At the same time you are never far from the residents.

For us it is important that the residents are involved in the meal plan. What do they want? What do they like? Which dishes evoke memories? and what should be on the menu next week?

We believe that the best meals are created when professional expertise and residents' wishes meet.

Meals matter a lot

For many of our residents, the meal is one of the day’s highlights.

You are therefore helping to create more than food. You help create

• familiar and cozy meals
• joy and appetite
• a sense of community around the table
• the opportunity to maintain habits, wishes and traditions
• small experiences that matter in daily life

We are looking for someone who

• has a dietetics education
• is passionate about making tasty and inviting food
• can work independently and take responsibility for the kitchen
• wants to involve residents in the meal plan
• sees the meal as an important part of the residents' quality of life
• has an eye for the individual resident's wishes and needs
• wants to be part of the community at Søvangen
