About the job

Do you want to help develop Kragelundskolen's strong communities and inspiring learning environments further? Do you dream of leading engaged staff and being part of a school in motion?

At Kragelundskolen we strive to create the best framework for children's learning, well-being and development. We are looking for an educational leader who will actively contribute to strengthening our shared learning culture and create participation opportunities for all children. Is that you?

We offer

As an educational leader at Kragelundskolen you will, among other things

  • Opportunity to influence development: A role with good opportunities to help further develop the lower school, the SFO (After-school program) and the strong learning communities.
  • A close leadership community : A part of a dedicated leadership team, where we collaborate closely on both the school's development and daily operations.
  • A broad leadership task: A versatile leadership role with the opportunity to work with both pedagogical development, staff leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration and operations.

About the job

As an educational leader you will be responsible for leading grades 0-3 and the SFO. You ensure that staff have the best conditions to succeed with their pedagogical tasks by creating structure and direction for daily practice, by being visible and leading close to practice through observation, sparring and feedback, and by contributing to a good working environment with a focus on community and inclusion as core principles.

You will have particular focus on

  • Continuing development of stronger learning communities and the “School for all,” where the special education principles are embedded in everyday life.
  • Continuing the work to support and develop collaboration between teachers and pedagogues in the early years.
  • Continuing development work with our SFO together with the staff. Currently the focus is on creating an inclusive SFO, where our special class students are also part of the SFO.
  • Being involved in further developing a good SFO offering of high quality, where the pursuit of high quality continues.
  • Continuation of cross-disciplinary collaboration with PPR, Social Administration and other partners.
  • Staff leadership and staff development in relation to both pedagogues and teachers.
  • Administrative tasks related to the leadership area, including participation in annual planning, work-time scheduling for teachers and pedagogues, SFO annual planning and holiday planning, etc.

You will be part of leading AKT, subject advisers, the school library, subject teams and network meetings, and you will share responsibility for the school's operations, including annual planning, subject distribution and development initiatives. The exact distribution will be decided in collaboration with the rest of the leadership team.

You will become part of a committed and passionate leadership team that works closely together on the school's development and operations. We are a leadership team that sees leadership as a team sport, where we lift together and create development through collaboration and clear framing. Our goal is for both children and staff to thrive, learn and develop together in a safe and inspiring environment. The final task distribution and distribution of cross-cutting tasks occur when the leadership team is full.

You will also be part of the large community in Children and Young People, where we work within the common and binding framework of, among other things, broader child communities.

About you

  • You focus on building good relationships. You are curious, responsive and appreciative in your approach to leadership and collaboration. You are a team player who takes responsibility and follows through.
  • You communicate clearly and respectfully. You invite dialogue, challenge and allow yourself to be challenged. Your communication is open and transparent, so decisions are clear to everyone.
  • You work analytically and structurally. You ensure overview, create coherence and make decisions on an well-informed basis.
  • You have knowledge of and understanding for leading both pedagogues and teachers , both together and separately, with regard to their different competencies and the joint work around the pupils.
  • You are visionary and action-oriented. You dare to act and make a decision, but also have the courage to make mistakes and learn.
  • You are inclusive. You motivate staff and have an eye for both the individual and the community. You handle both internal development tasks and politically defined focus areas professionally.
  • You perform administrative tasks. You participate in planning, have an eye for both details and the whole in the annual planning, including responsibility for planning the SFO pedagogues’ and lower school teachers’ working hours as well as the SFO’s finances.
