Kurdish-speaking pedagogical support for a woman sought – Lejre

LIDT OM BORGER

The client is a woman aged 60. She speaks and does not understand Danish, but Kurdish-Sorani or Persian.

She has PTSD due to several traumatic experiences, and is assessed to be highly vulnerable. She uses a rollator due to knee and back pain.

The woman has a strong desire to learn Danish and become more independent, but needs support to navigate everyday life, understand mail and notices, manage health, finances and participate in social activities.

OM JOBBET

You shall, among other things, help the client with

• Find and participate in social communities and leisure activities
• Pursue Danish language instruction and other learning opportunities
• Handle mail, understand notices and communicate clearly
• Create structure and take care of her physical and mental well-being

You are paid for 7.5 hours per month, distributed as

• In-person presence, 2 hours every second week
• The remaining 3.5 hours per month are used for preparation and documentation

The purpose of the support is

That the woman gradually becomes more independent, strengthens her network and experiences greater quality of life.

You will become an important person in her journey toward handling more on her own – with support, encouragement and professional sparring along the way.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Is present and empathetic
• Has experience with the target group and an understanding of trauma, PTSD and psychosocial vulnerability.
• Fluent in Kurdish-Sorani or Persian as well as Danish
• Can work independently and create a safe framework

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• Start date: as soon as possible
• Part-time: 7.5 hours per month.
• You arrange with the woman when you should come
• Deadline for applications: 29.10.2026
