LEAN- and 5S assistant

The position

At JAI we are looking for a dedicated LEAN assistant who is passionate about continuous improvements, 5S and Kaizen, and who thrives being close to the operation. You will become a visible sparring partner for production, and you will be responsible for spotting and driving concrete improvement projects yourself – from idea to implementation and anchoring.

We are seeking a person with practical and verifiable experience within LEAN, 5S and Kaizen and a hands-on approach to improvement work. You are self-driven regarding both task and result objectives, and you thrive taking the lead on a task.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Kaizen events, 5S and other improvement activities based on Gemba – from initiation to implementation and follow-up
• Support colleagues in the daily use of LEAN and 5S tools
• Conduct problem-solving processes with the involved employees
• Follow up on initiated initiatives and ensure that agreed improvements are anchored and sustained in daily work

Your profile

• Your experience comes from a manufacturing company, e.g., as a LEAN assistant, LEAN coordinator or similar
• You involve your colleagues through dialogue and engagement
• You are structured, curious and keen to be close to production and present at the Gemba
• You communicate clearly in Danish, and it is an advantage if you can also operate in English

Note: The position has no personnel responsibility. You gain influence through facilitation, dialogue and progress in the projects
