Logistics Worker (Service Assistant) at Horsens Regional Hospital

Do you want practical work in the logistics area at the Regions Hospital in Horsens?

We are seeking a service assistant for our team in logistics and supply, Service and Technical. You will also be required to cover as a receptionist in Information at the Regions Hospital. The position is a full-time job of 37 hours, start as soon as possible.

We are looking for a service assistant who can participate in daily operations and be prepared to take on changing roles where the need arises in the logistics area. You must also be able to handle the task as a receptionist in Information as a substitute.

The job will give you a varied and diverse workday with colleagues from your own department and several other professional groups. You will perform your tasks close to patients who are admitted for examination or are undergoing treatment, as well as relatives. You must be able to thrive with that.

Tasks

Active participation in daily operations in the logistics department, e.g. collection and transport of waste and food, washing of beds, cleaning and preparation of isolation trolleys.

We order and deliver clothing, linen and goods to all departments in the hospital, pickup of samples, medicines and goods both inside and outside the building as well as mixing of medicines.

Scanning of tags, restocking/stock replenishment in the clinics and goods reception.

Substitution in Information includes personal inquiries, phone calls, guidance and forwarding of patients and staff.

Working hours

Shifting start times Monday to Friday between 6:30 and 10:00 with a working day of 7.4 hours.

There will be weekend work, where the start time is 07:00. In connection with holidays there will also be shifts. The Information desk is staffed on weekdays from 6:45-20:00 and on weekends/holidays from 10:00-17:00.

Personal qualifications

• Customer-service oriented, flexible and engaged
• Good at working independently and not afraid to take responsibility
• Can speak, write, read and understand Danish and English
• Sees changes as opportunities and thrives with it
• A driving licence category B is a requirement
• There are many heavy lifts, and it is hard work, so it is important that you are in good physical shape
• We expect stable attendance and high engagement

Terms of employment

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the agreement between Danish Regions and negotiating organizations. The position is covered by local pay grading negotiated with the trade union.

Employment is conditional on a satisfactory child certificate.
