Lunden Housing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an employee for the kitchen/service department

• We are looking for a new colleague who would like to become part of our kitchen/service team at Lunden.

Dreaming of working with 6 dedicated and skilled colleagues, where there is a focus on healthy and nutritious meals, where there is also room to tailor the diet according to the residents' wishes and needs.

Lunden is a specialized rehabilitation offer for people with acquired brain injury and an exciting workplace for about 125 employees. Lunden's many employees have educational backgrounds and perform various roles, but what unites us all is our passion for Lunden and its residents.

Lunden consists of both long-term housing, temporary rehabilitation placements and day users.

The kitchen/service team is responsible for preparing meals for the home's residents, providing refreshments for meetings, courses and for the canteen for the home's employees. In addition, there is a laundry that handles the residents' and the home's laundry. The kitchen is centrally located in the building, which provides ample opportunity for close dialogue and collaboration with the other staff and residents.

We are looking for an employee who

• Can work independently and take responsibility for their tasks
• Has an orderly mindset
• Has a focus on the overall task solution
• Is open to professional sparring with other professional groups
• Has experience in kitchen – and preferably with education in nutrition

The tasks will primarily be

• Light cooking, baking cakes, peeling and chopping vegetables/salads
• Preparation of cold meals - open sandwiches, sandwiches
• Cleaning in the large kitchen
• Meeting catering
• Ensure that dishwashing is carried out
• Responsibility for staff uniforms, placing clothes on shelves and keeping track of the clothing stock
• Substitute in the laundry
• Ad hoc tasks

Employment contract

As a result of the agreement on business transfer, employees from Varde Municipality will be transferred to Region Syddanmark on 1 January 2027. It means that you in your employment will be transferred to Region Syddanmark on 1 January 2027. Before that you will receive a new employment letter from Region Syddanmark. Upon transfer you are transferred with your salary and employment terms.

Working hours will predominantly be during daytime on weekdays. There may be a few evening shifts for events such as Sct. Hans and some Saturdays/holidays such as Easter and Christmas.
