About the job

Would you like to help ensure stable operations at a brand-new Danish factory?

We are looking for a responsible and technically interested maintenance operator for our small caliber production, who will contribute to stable and efficient operation through preventive maintenance, systematic inspections and technical troubleshooting.

You will become part of Nammo Denmark A/S in Elling and take on an important role in keeping our machines, production equipment and technical installations in good condition. Here, quality, precision, safety and collaboration are crucial for production to function as it should.

The position will initially be on day shift during the establishment phase, but is expected to transition to a rotating shift pattern thereafter. It is therefore important that you are prepared for this change in working hours.

Your role

You report to the maintenance supervisor and become part of the maintenance function, where you primarily work with planned maintenance tasks, inspections, checks and minor fault corrections.

Your daily tasks include, among other things, checking machines and technical equipment, detecting signs of wear or faults and responding to deviations before they develop into operating problems. You perform troubleshooting and rectify minor technical faults within your competence, and you document the work correctly.

You work closely with production and your colleagues in maintenance to prevent production stops and ensure that the equipment functions as it should. At the same time, it is important that you follow applicable instructions, handle tools and spare parts correctly and report faults and the need for further maintenance.

We are open to both you who are at the beginning of your career and you who have experience from production, technical service or maintenance. Tasks and responsibilities are tailored to your competences and the training you undergo.

Travel activity in connection with training

In the first months of employment you can expect a fair amount of travel activity, as training and knowledge transfer will primarily take place at Nammo’s sites in Sweden and Norway. The travels are to ensure you gain the necessary insight, training and experience to perform your role at Nammo Denmark A/S.

Your primary tasks

Preventive maintenance and inspections

  • Perform planned maintenance, inspections and checks according to applicable instructions.
  • Inspect machines, production equipment and technical installations for wear, leaks and other signs of faults.
  • Identify abnormal conditions and respond to emerging faults.
  • Help prevent production stops through systematic maintenance and timely reporting.

Technical fault finding and fault correction

  • Carry out basic fault finding on machines and technical equipment.
  • Rectify minor technical faults within your own competence.
  • Respond to recurring faults and report the need for further investigation or repair.
  • Call in relevant technical assistance when a task requires other competencies or approval.

Documentation and materials handling

  • Prepare necessary tools, spare parts and materials for maintenance tasks.
  • Record completed work and report faults, deviations and need for further maintenance.
  • Handle tools, spare parts and technical equipment correctly.
  • Ensure that the documentation is correct and complete.

Safety, quality and improvements

  • Follow applicable work instructions, safety procedures and quality requirements.
  • Use prescribed personal protective equipment and relevant safety gear.
  • Respond to risks, faults and deviations and report them according to applicable procedures.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the workplace.
  • Contribute with suggestions to improve maintenance work and prevent recurring faults.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a relevant technical vocational education, for example in mechanics, industrial engineering or automation. Practical experience from production, technical service or maintenance is an advantage, but relevant experience and technical competences can also be a good starting point.

You do not need to know everything from day one. The most important thing is that you have technical understanding, a desire to learn and take responsibility for the quality of your work.

As a person you are

  • Responsible and meticulous – you care that tasks are carried out correctly.
  • Systematic – you follow instructions and work in a structured way.
  • Technically interested – you want to understand how machines and equipment work.
  • Collaborative – you help your colleagues and contribute to a well-functioning daily life.
  • Flexible and eager to learn – you are ready to learn new things and handle different practical tasks.
  • Quality- and safety-conscious – you respond to faults and follow applicable procedures.

You can communicate in Danish, both orally and in writing, and you have English skills that enable you to understand relevant technical instructions and documentation.

It is a prerequisite that you work within your qualifications and the necessary approvals. You must also be prepared to undergo the training and competency development required by the tasks.

Why Nammo?

At Nammo Denmark you get the opportunity to become part of building a new Danish factory and a growing organization. You become part of a professional environment where your contribution matters to daily operations, and where collaboration between maintenance and production is important.

You will have the opportunity to develop your technical competences, build knowledge of our machine park and contribute to creating good workflows and a stable production.

Our values Dedication – Precision – Care reflect the way we work: We take responsibility, deliver quality and help each other succeed.

Do you want to help ensure that Nammo Denmarks production runs stably?

Then we look forward to hearing from you.
