Position in upper grades, possibly with a mentoring role

At Baltorpskolen we are now looking for a mathematics teacher for our junior master apprenticeship class. These are students in 8th-9th grade who have chosen to combine regular school subjects and an apprenticeship. 3 days with us and 2 days in apprenticeship per week. The students come from all schools in the municipality, and their academic prerequisites vary greatly. You will also be the form teacher for the students in the junior master apprenticeship together with their Danish teacher.

We want a teacher who never gives up when it comes to teaching children mathematics. We hope that your particular strengths in mathematics communication can be used far beyond the students in the junior master apprenticeship. As a DSA mathematics teacher, mathematics resource teacher or as inspiration for your colleagues in a mentoring role.

• Completed teacher education with mathematics and other relevant subjects
• Acknowledging view of children
• Good classroom management skills
• Strong in relationship work with students and colleagues
• Driven by ambitions on behalf of all children
• Humanity and resilience as contagious.

The position can be at reduced hours if you prefer.

Recruitment process and salary

Hiring date is 1 December 2026.

We will hold interviews on Thursday 22 October

The position is initially 37 hours and is a permanent position.

Application deadline: 20 October 2026.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for teachers etc. for primary schools in municipalities. Employment is based on the principles of local salary formation and after agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position is 39,726 DKK – 47,314 DKK per month without pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiations between the employer and the trade union with the right to negotiate in the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
