About the job

Are you a trained lawyer, and able to maintain overview and momentum in complex personnel cases? Are you motivated to make a difference and succeed with tasks through a strong team and high professionalism? Then you might be the maternity cover we are looking for.

We are seeking a skilled HR lawyer for an exciting maternity cover in Team Personnel Law and Negotiation. Here you get the opportunity to become part of a well-functioning HR department where professionalism, collaboration and integrity go hand in hand, and where from day one you take an important role in supporting managers and the organization in personnel-legal questions.

Collaboration with others is your strength

In the HR department we are looking for a professionally strong team player for our Team Personnel Law and Negotiation, who provides sparring to Horsens Municipality's more than 300 managers in ongoing personnel cases. At the same time you will have the opportunity to become part of a department with strong collegiality, psychological safety and a good working environment.

Our vision is to make an impact and lead in collaboration. We focus on integrity, and we work to create a strong organization that can do more with us as a partner.

About the job – sparring, advice and development

In the HR department we are 20 highly motivated and professionally competent HR consultants. As colleagues we have an informal tone, and we are happy to share both knowledge and jokes.

You will become part of a team with many exciting tasks, including

  • Personnel-legal advice in official cases and sick leave interviews including case handling, participation in dismissal cases, preparation of written documents and negotiations.
  • Interpretation of and guidance on collective agreements, contracts etc.
  • Guidance on pay as a strategic management tool, including negotiation of local agreements, pre-agreements, concrete pay placement and pay negotiations.
  • Preparation of management tools, guidelines, templates etc. and training in the area.

What does it look like when you work with us?

We offer an exciting maternity cover with great variation in tasks and possibility to work broadly within employment law. You will have every opportunity to bring both your professional heft and your communication skills into play, and we can almost guarantee that no two days are the same. We prioritize close management and offer ongoing sparring and feedback. You will become part of a team where we help each other and focus on both results and well-being.

You can also look forward to attractive staff benefits such as a solid pension scheme, good canteen, fruit scheme, holiday homes across Denmark, employee treatment with physiotherapy, free fitness and exciting employee associations – such as KÅNST, the employees' association for events and concerts and much more.

Who will be your colleagues?

The HR department consists of two teams. The team you join deals with personnel law, sick leave and negotiation. The other team works with organizational and leadership development, well-being, work environment, recruitment and the MED-system.

We are undergoing an exciting development, and we look forward to having you join the team during the period when you contribute to lifting the tasks in connection with our colleague's maternity leave.

How you succeed in the position

You are confident in your professional assessments, but you also know when to seek sparring from a colleague. You have strong social skills and can find paths to sustainable and agile solutions. You can operate at several levels in the organization and you follow up tasks to the finish. You value mutual trust, collaboration and flexibility as highly as we do.

Additionally

  • You have an MA in Law (cand.jur.) or another equivalent relevant education.
  • You have great organizational and situational insight and good communication skills.
  • You are inquisitive and curious to find solutions in interaction with both managers and colleagues across the organization.
  • You have an eye for detail and can balance between different interests, formal requirements and the expectation of efficiency.
  • You are happy to share your knowledge and value collaboration with colleagues.
  • You thrive delivering high service and quality and understand the role of advisor in the public sector.
