We are seeking a skilled HR lawyer for an exciting maternity cover in the Team for Personnel Law and Negotiation. Here you will have the opportunity to become part of a well-functioning HR department where professionalism, collaboration and integrity go hand in hand, and where from day one you will have an important role in supporting leaders and the organization in personnel-law matters.

Interaction with others is your strength

In the HR department we are looking for a professionally strong team player for our Team for Personnel Law and Negotiation, who provides sparring to Horsens Municipality's more than 300 managers in ongoing personnel matters. At the same time you will have the opportunity to become part of a department with strong collegiality, psychological safety and a good working environment.

Our vision is to make a mark and lead in collaboration. We focus on integrity, and we work to create a strong organization that can do more with us as a partner.

About the job – sparring, guidance and development

In the HR department we are 20 highly motivated and professionally competent HR consultants. As colleagues we have an informal tone, and we are happy to share both knowledge and jokes.

You will become part of a team with many exciting tasks, including

  • Personnel-law advisory in official matters and sick-leave conversations including case processing, participation in dismissal cases, preparation of written documents and negotiation.
  • Interpretation of and guidance on collective agreement conditions, agreements, etc.
  • Guidance on salary as a strategic management tool, including negotiations of local agreements, upfront agreements, concrete salary placement and salary negotiations.
  • Preparation of management tools, guidelines, templates etc. and teaching in the area.

What is it like to work with us?

We offer an exciting maternity cover with great variation in tasks and opportunities to work broadly within employment law. You will have ample opportunity to bring both your professional depth and your communication skills into play, and we can almost guarantee that no two days are the same. We prioritise close leadership and offer ongoing sparring and feedback. You will be part of a team where we help each other and focus on both results and well-being.

You can also look forward to attractive employee benefits such as a solid pension scheme, a good canteen, fruit scheme, holiday homes throughout Denmark, employee treatment with physiotherapy, free fitness and exciting employee associations – such as KÅNST, the staff association for events and concerts and much more.

Who will your colleagues be?

The HR department consists of two teams. The team you will join deals with personnel law, sick leave and negotiation. The other team works with organizational and leadership development, well-being, working environment, recruitment and the MED system.

We are in the midst of an exciting development, and we look forward to having you join the team during the period where you contribute to lifting the tasks in connection with our colleague's maternity leave.

How you succeed in the role

You are secure in your professional assessments, but you also know when to seek sparring from a colleague. You have good social skills and can find ways to durable and flexible solutions. You can operate at several levels in the organization and you follow tasks through to the end. You value mutual trust, collaboration and flexibility highly, just as we do.

Furthermore

  • You hold a cand.jur. or another similarly relevant education.
  • You have strong organizational and situational understanding as well as good communication skills.
  • You are investigative and curious to find solutions in collaboration with both managers and colleagues across the organization.
  • You have an eye for detail and can balance between different interests, formal requirements and the expectation of efficiency.
