About the job

Are you ambitious on behalf of children and young people? Can you create development and new ideas in the projects you are engaged in? Are you analytical, communicative and relationally strong? Do you work in a structured, responsible and goal-oriented way? Are you a valued sparring and collaboration partner? And do you want to contribute to the work community across the children, youth and culture sector? Then you may be our new development consultant in a parental leave cover.

A children and youth area in development

You will be employed in our Joint Secretariat in the Department of Children, Youth and Culture. Your tasks will be cross-cutting but focused on the Family and Prevention area. Family and Prevention is a consolidated executive area that has responsibility for the specialized child and family area as well as the child health area. The area is professionally broad and works with authority work, 24-hour placements and home-based interventions for children and young people in vulnerable positions or with disabilities, as well as health visiting and dental care.

We are focused on rethinking and developing our initiatives and forms of collaboration with a view to maintaining a sustainable area both in terms of quality, professionalism and economy. This across the departments in Family and Prevention, as well as in close collaboration with the daycare and school sector and many other stakeholders.

In Middelfart Municipality we work from the signature of building bridges, the Council's vision “Space to grow – room to live” and the various political goals, see more at the link here here .

In the children and youth area we take our starting point in the strategy ”From Middelfart child to global citizen” and our shared view of children. You can read more about ”From Middelfart child to global citizen” at this link From Middelfart child to global citizen .
