Job description

We are now seeking a Meeting & Events Operations Supervisor for our dynamic team at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Copenhagen!

The role as Meeting & Events Operations Supervisor is exciting and versatile. Our M&E department has a capacity for around 1,200 guests, and we plan and host a wide range of events annually - from small meetings to large conferences, congresses, gala dinners, company parties, exhibitions, etc.

As Meeting & Events Operations Supervisor your primary tasks will be centered around the execution of events. This includes, among other things:

• Ensuring proper staffing
• Setting up the venues
• Maintaining dialogue with the guests
• Coordination with the kitchen and other departments
• Execution and service

Together with your team you create the foundation for unforgettable experiences, and make everything work smoothly.

Qualifications

Many of the meetings and events we host are in the order of 500+ participants. We therefore expect you to have a few years of practical experience with the execution of larger events, including gala dinners. If you are additionally a trained server, that is a plus.

• You are a strong event executor, and you thrive on varying workdays where you must both dive into planning and coordination, but also be “on” for your guests.
• You have a strong focus on detail and take pride in delivering all your events to perfection.
• As a person you are flexible and service-minded, thorough, hardworking and have a good mood. You see tasks as a whole and thrive on juggling many tasks at once. You see solutions and opportunities rather than limitations.
• You must be ready and clear in your communication while maintaining a “Yes I Can!” attitude every time – both towards customers, guests and colleagues.
• You speak Danish and English.

Additional information

Based on the events and the needs of the customers, you will largely be able to plan and organize your working hours yourself. The level of activity is seasonal, and there may therefore be occasional fluctuations in the workload. The position is full-time.
