Mechanic for our workshop in Slagelse

We are looking for a stable and flexible mechanic for our workshop in Slagelse with start as soon as possible. You do not need to be a bus mechanic. If you are trained as a passenger car mechanic, truck mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, or have a similar background, we would like to hear from you. If you have not worked with buses before, we will train you. We place emphasis on your professionalism, your willingness to learn, and that you thrive in a small, close team.

About the job

At the workshop in Slagelse we are a small, close team where we help each other. If it is busy, or a fault is troublesome, we lend a hand so no one is left with the task alone. You will repair and service buses together with your local colleagues. You will also become part of Vikingbus’ mechanic team, where we share knowledge and consult across the workshops nationwide.

The job offers exciting fault finding, but also a good amount of bread-and-butter work, e.g. routine service and maintenance. You must enjoy that. You also get responsibility for communication with the minibus department, so they always know the status of their buses.

The workshop works with modern equipment, and new employees are trained by experienced colleagues. Working hours are mainly on weekdays.

Vikingbus has a fleet of over 1,000 buses and workshops across Denmark.
