Miniclub (2nd–3rd grade) is seeking a dedicated movement educator

Miniklubben is seeking an engaged movement educator for a permanent full-time position starting January 1, 2027.

Are you a movement educator who loves to incorporate play, motor skills, sports, rhythm, outdoor life or body-based learning into children's day? Do you have ideas on how we develop fun, safe and engaging activities that strengthen well-being, relationships and movement?

Miniklubben is part of a larger leisure environment at Islev School consisting of Snurretoppen (grades 0-1), Miniklubben (grades 2-3), Juniorklubben (grades 4-6) and Ungdomsklubben (grades 7 – 17) located at Islev School.

With us there is room to think big and plenty of opportunities to work physically, creatively and playfully. We have divisions consisting of three categories; creativity, movement and outdoor life.

Everyday life in Miniklubben is characterized by energy, movement, community, humor and strong relationships. We emphasize psychological safety, trust and responsibility, and we believe that diversity in the staff group is a strength.

Since the position includes lessons during school hours , you will have the opportunity to become a natural and integrated part of both the learning environment in the school and in the after-school section.

In the afternoons we create activities that fit the children's interests, age and development. The age group is 7-10 years old and you will have ample opportunity to shape everyday life with your ideas. We prioritize time for annual planning, monthly planning and weekly planning, where we plan activities, events and projects together.

In Miniklubben there is room for both traditions and creative movement programs, outdoor life, theme weeks, workshop activities, play projects and parent events, which are planned based on an annual plan. There is always activity going on here and room for your ideas and your engagement. We host, among other things, two theme parties per year and one parent day per year. All of this is made possible through an annual norm, which counts all your hours over a full year. We are very transparent about your annual norm, where we hold 3 annual norm conversations per year, to follow you and your hours closely.

Last Friday of the month there is a joint staff meeting with all educators in the organization, where the rest of the Fridays in the month are staff meetings in the department. Here there is room for professional sparring, joint reflection and idea development about children's lives and pedagogy, as well as planning of upcoming activities, projects and events. Planning for all this takes place through your preparation time, school preparation time, common preparation time, as well as a board meeting for all educators which we hold every day before we open.

· has the desire and courage to participate in lessons during school hours

· is relationally strong, present and curious about children from 2nd-3rd grade

· is responsible, clear and proactive

· thrives in team collaboration and contributes to a safe, humorous and professional environment

· has good ideas on how activities can be developed through movement, play and creativity

· has the opportunity to participate in afternoon activities and occasional evenings at special events where there are meetings or events.
