Assemblers for mobile workplaces

Do you want to work on building commercial vehicles and trucks, where your hands and your professional skills make a difference?

We are seeking installers for a company on Vestfyn that develops and builds mobile workplaces for the business sector. Here you will be part of a team that transforms vans and trucks into functional and well-thought-out solutions, from standard configurations to customized service vehicles.

This is the job for you if you have a background such as welder, mechanic, automotive mechanic, auto-electrician, carpenter or similar, and enjoy using your skills in practice.

Your day-to-day

You work closely with your colleagues on the assembly and finishing of vans and trucks. The tasks vary from vehicle to vehicle, and you will have the opportunity to work with both assembly, construction, electrical work and custom solutions.

Depending on your background you may work with

• Assembly and connection of electrical components
• Metalworking and construction of cabs, boxes, shelves and fittings.
• Installation of lifting and crane solutions.
• Troubleshooting, adjustment and quality checks of the solutions you install.

You become an important part of the process from the first task to the finished vehicle that goes out to the customer.

What you need to be able to do

It is an advantage if you have experience with vehicles, assembly, construction or building of special solutions. The most important thing, however, is that you have a good technical understanding and a desire to learn.

You will succeed in the job when you

• Have a practical approach and are used to working with assembly, construction and craft tasks.
• Work systematically and follow tasks through to completion.
• Have an eye for quality, detail and safety.
• Can work independently but also contribute actively to the team.
• Thrive in a daily life where tasks vary from vehicle to vehicle.
• It is advantageous if you have a forklift license, but not a requirement.

You do not need to know everything from the start. But you must be eager to use your hands, learn new things and take responsibility for the finished result.
