Network Consultant

Job description

As a network consultant you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing network solutions for both internal and external customers – with particular focus on Fortinet. You will work closely with both internal teams and customers to design and implement effective network solutions that meet their needs. Your base will be at our office in Silkeborg, but you will also have the opportunity to visit customers. Your tasks include, among others:

• Setting up and configuring networks (preferably Fortinet) for our OT customers.
• Design, implementation and operation of network solutions for our OT customers.
• Monitoring and optimization of the network infrastructure to ensure stability and security.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of network issues.
• Advising both customers and internal teams to meet their network needs.

Who are you?

You are passionate about networks and infrastructure, and you may not have many years of experience yet – but you are eager to learn and develop in the area. The most important for us is that you have practical experience with firewall configuration, preferably with Fortinet equipment. You communicate clearly with both customers and colleagues and work as a team player who contributes to shared success. In addition, we imagine that you have:

• Experience with setup and configuration of firewalls, including knowledge of Fortinet.
• Fundamental knowledge of network technologies. Experience with design and maintenance of network solutions is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting in network environments.
• A willingness to pursue a Fortinet certification as part of your employment; other network certifications are also a plus.
• Experience with IEC62443 is an advantage, but not a requirement.
