NordKon A/S – Project Manager

Are you an experienced project manager with a solid construction background and a desire to take responsibility for complex construction projects from start to finish? As a project manager at NordKon you will have a central role in managing your own cases with responsibility for both production and external partners.

You will become part of a growing company where you have significant influence on project execution and the opportunity to shape both processes and results. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, management, customers and partners, where you are responsible for ensuring progress, quality and financials in all phases of the project.

Reporting to management you will among other things have the following areas of responsibility and tasks:

• Planning, leadership and management of construction projects from start to handover
• Overall responsibility for production on own cases
• Management of schedules, resources and staffing in the projects
• Financial management, budget monitoring and project follow-up
• Quality assurance and handling of defects and handovers
• Contract management and participation in contract negotiations
• Participation in construction meetings and coordination with the client, advisors and partners
• Follow-up on 1- and 5-year reviews
• Ensure progress, structure and adherence to agreed targets for time, cost and quality
• Proactive handling of risks and challenges in the projects

To succeed in the role it is expected that you have a minimum of 5 years' experience from a similar position with main and turnkey contracts. You have a crafts background and are educated as a building constructor or equivalent technical education. You work in a structured way, have a strong sense of order and are used to taking responsibility for complex construction projects.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of piece-rate work as well as experience with own production and project management in the contracting industry.

As a person you are responsible, independent and proactive. You thrive with many balls in the air and are able to create an overview in a busy everyday life. You are a strong communicator and collaborator, building trust among both employees, customers and partners. At the same time you are results-oriented and motivated to create successful projects with a focus on time, cost and quality.

You master Danish in writing and speaking at a high level, have a driver's license and reside within a reasonable driving distance to the company's location in Aalborg – a maximum of about 45 minutes. English at workplace level is an advantage.
