About the job

Are you a nurse with your heart in the right place and a desire for high professionalism? Then it might be YOU we’re looking for!

Do you dream of a workplace with high professionalism, exciting patient pathways, fantastic colleagues and a work environment where there is also room for plenty of laughter? Then read on!

We are seeking a committed nurse for a permanent position of 37 hours per week, who wants to become part of our wonderful team.

With us you don’t just get a job. You become part of a community where we help each other, laugh together and stand together – even when it’s really busy.

We have a culture of openness, room for differences and a culture where we take care of each other.

And yes – we REALLY have a good working environment! It’s not just something we write in a job advertisement. It’s something we work for and prioritise every single day.

Highly specialized nursing care, where you truly use your professional knowledge

We are a highly specialized medical inpatient ward with a focus on gastroenterology.

With us you will meet patients with complex and exciting disease courses where your nursing knowledge, your observations and your clinical assessment and view really make a difference.

We treat, among others, patients with

  • Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis (IBD).
  • Intestinal failure and short bowel syndrome.
  • Patients with a need for home parenteral nutrition (HPN).
  • Other gastroenterological diseases and complex medical issues.

We also have our own specialized intestinal failure clinic located in the ward, which provides an exciting professional environment and an opportunity to gain a truly unique insight into a highly specialized area.

🌿 For us, nursing is much more than tasks to be completed

We work with holistic care, where you as a nurse closely follow your patients and are responsible for the overall patient journey.

You will have the opportunity to work with complex nursing issues, medical treatment, coordination and close patient contact.

We prioritise joint rounds, where nurses and doctors together with the patient lay out the plan for the next steps.

And something we really value here is that our doctors are responsive, and that we have a very good interdisciplinary collaboration.

Here your professional judgment is taken seriously, and you are an important part of the decisions regarding the patient.

What can we offer you?

  • A fantastic working environment where we help each other and have room for both laughter and seriousness.
  • An workplace with high professionalism and exciting, complex patient pathways.
  • Opportunity to develop within a highly specialized gastroenterological field.
  • Good and engaged colleagues who are always ready to lend a hand.
  • A close and respectful cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • A present and listening management that prioritizes well-being and job satisfaction.
  • An department where your ideas and professional input are heard.
  • A workplace where we understand that you also have a life outside of work.
  • Weekend shifts according to a 4-2-4-2 rotation, so you have a fixed structure in your shift schedule.
  • A really good onboarding process when you start.

Who are you?

We imagine you are a trained nurse, and that you

  • Are passionate about nursing and want to make a difference for your patients.
  • Want to work with an exciting and highly specialized field.
  • Are professionally curious and eager to learn new things. (We work with KPIs).
  • Thrive with responsibility and can maintain an overview in a busy everyday life.
  • Are a good colleague who contributes positively to our community.
  • Have a sense of humour and know that a good laugh also belongs in a busy hospital ward.

You do not need to have experience in gastroenterology. We will make sure you are well introduced to our specialty.

The most important thing for us is that you want to learn, take responsibility and be part of our good community.

Ready to become our new colleague?

We are not just looking for another nurse. We are looking for a colleague who wants to be part of a ward where we are proud of both our professionalism and our working environment.

We know that the work as a nurse can be busy and demanding at times. But we also believe that when we get along, help each other and have room for humor, even the busiest days become a little easier.

With us, it should be pleasant to go to work – and you should look forward to meeting your colleagues.

So if you’re looking for a job with high professionalism, responsibility, exciting patients and some really great colleagues, we hope you will apply with us.

We look forward to hearing from you – and perhaps welcoming you to our wonderful team.
