About the job

1 full-time position from 1/1 2027 or by agreement

We are seeking colleagues to join our fantastic team in the Children and Young People Sleep Ward. The Children and Young People Sleep Ward consists among other things of 30 competent, engaged and good-humoured nurses, who you will be your nearest colleagues and in addition you can expect a good and strong interdisciplinary collaboration – which we value highly.

We love the intense, acute, fun and quirky experiences; it is rewarding to work with children, young people and their families in both short and long processes. So if you are passionate about the children and about working in a developing environment, this job may be for you.

We are looking for nurses who…

  • have experience with paediatrics, neonatology or acute work. Experience from an adult department would also be an advantage
  • have good communication and pedagogical skills with good situational awareness and who can tailor their efforts to the individual family
  • can meet our families with respect and equality and who understand how to establish a trusting collaboration
  • thrive with both acute tasks and longer-term cases
  • are flexible, adaptable and ready to have tasks solved both independently and in collaboration
  • have humor and naturally contribute to our good atmosphere

Who are we?

We are a group of dedicated and professionally skilled nurses who are passionate about providing good pathways for children, young people and parents. We work family-centered and based on Fundamentals of Care in a trust-based environment. We place emphasis on an informal tone, where collaboration and exchange of experiences with good colleagues, both mono- and interprofessional, is the starting point for delivering high-quality work.

Here there is room to breathe, humor and laughter, and together we work for a good working environment. We are looking for someone who sees the value in this and would naturally contribute in everyday life.

What will you get?

We value professionalism and a good learning environment, and therefore you will receive a modular training program with a mentoring scheme, a competence card and close guidance in the first weeks. The training will of course be adapted to the competencies you bring.

You will have diverse tasks where you can use your professional skills, always have collegial support and sparring both within one department and cross-disciplinary. You will gain knowledge and experience within a broad and exciting specialty with many fields and a culture characterized by togetherness, integrity and high professional standards.

We know that a good balance between work and private life is important for everyone, and therefore you will naturally have influence on your work schedule. We have approximately 10 evening/night shifts over four weeks and work 12-hour shifts on weekends (equivalent to every third).

We have preferred scheduling on both weekdays and weekends. There will be opportunities for compensatory time off for supplements.
