Nurse sought for 9-month maternity leave cover

Do you want to work at specialist level at Denmark's nationwide epilepsy hospital, and be part of making a decisive difference for the patients and their relatives, then it is you we are looking for. The Epilepsy Department with handicap investigates and treats the most complex epilepsy patients.

The maternity cover is currently day shift at 37 hours per week, with start 1 December 2026, or after agreement.

You will be employed at the Epilepsy Hospital in the Epilepsy Department with handicap. Our fantastic patients come from all over Denmark, and are physically and mentally developmentally disabled adults with complex epilepsy. Our goal is to embrace the entire patient and their relatives, who are often hospitalized to increase safety for the patients.

The department is normed to 10 patients, and the tasks are diverse and include among others seizure and behaviour observation, handling of complex and fundamental nursing tasks, and close collaboration with relatives and residences .

In addition to patient care, the department's staff are responsible for providing 24-hour coverage of a central monitoring function located in the department. In addition, LEAN, patient safety and quality work are well integrated and a natural part of the daily tasks.

The department is a training site for nursing students and SSA students.
