About the job
Nurse with experience in psychiatry and vulnerable patients sought for general practice in Vejle
Are you passionate about helping people in vulnerable life situations? Do you have experience from psychiatry and with supportive/therapeutic conversations, and would you like to learn more in a multidisciplinary medical house in development? Then we may have the job for you.
Midtbylægerne Vejle are looking for a nurse, 32 hours per week, to start on February 1, 2027 or by agreement.
The position combines a special focus on conversations with patients with stress, anxiety and depression with normal nursing tasks in practice, including monitoring of patients with chronic somatic diseases.
Who are we?
We are a modern practice in the heart of Vejle with about 8,500 patients. The team consists of 5 specialists in general medicine, 2 training doctors, 2 clinical nurses, 1 midwife, 1 chiropractor, 2 secretaries, medical students and a practice manager. We work closely together and prioritize high professional standards, security and a good 분위기 for both patients and staff.
We have bright, newly built premises in central Vejle, and we are constantly developing to give our patients the best possible treatment.
Your tasks will include
- Supportive conversations in short, targeted courses with patients e.g. anxiety, depression, stress reactions or crises
- Chronic illness monitoring, e.g. COPD, osteoporosis and metabolic disorders
- Other nursing tasks such as wound care and sample collection
- Interdisciplinary collaboration on complex patient pathways
We offer
- A meaningful everyday life with great variation and close patient contact
- Thorough training in general medical and somatic tasks
- A strong professional and collegial community with high well-being
- Good opportunities for professional development, including in talking therapies
- Short path from idea to action
- An intuitive IT system (XMO), good physical facilities and a central location 2 minutes from the train station
- Salary and terms of employment according to collective agreement between PLA and DSR
We imagine that you
- Are a trained nurse
- Have experience from psychiatry and with supportive or therapeutic conversations
- Would be an advantage to have psychotherapeutic further education or courses (an advantage, not a requirement)
- Are curious and willing to learn new things, including monitoring of patients with chronic somatic diseases
- Thrive with independent work and want to be an active part of a multidisciplinary team
Do you have questions?
Contact practice manager Michaela Boldes at telephone 2489 8666.
Application deadline: Thursday, December 10, 2026
Interviews: will be held Thursday, December 17, 2026 from 15:00–18:30
We look forward to hearing from you!
