About the job

Do you thrive in a daily life with high patient flow, short patient pathways, and specialized procedures? Are you motivated by high professional standards, responsibility, and close collaboration with colleagues, where you tackle tasks together? Then you might be our new colleague at the Scope Clinic.

At the Scope Clinic we are part of the entire patient journey – from reception and examination to recovery and discharge. We work in a specialized department where high professionalism, precision, and close collaboration go hand in hand with development and learning.

Our team consists of 23 nurses, of which 5 are endoscopy-nurses, as well as 3 service assistants. We have different experiences and competencies, which we actively bring into play in everyday life. We value a culture where we both support and challenge each other professionally, share knowledge, and use reflection as a basis for joint development.

Working hours are primarily on weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with a few days until 4:30 p.m.

Your tasks

You will work closely with the procedures and actively participate in

  • Assistance during endoscopic examinations (gastroscopies, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, bronchoscopies, and ERCP)
  • Close teamwork in the room with a physician or endoscopy nurse and anesthesia staff
  • Patient pathway before, during, and after the examination – including observation and recovery

The everyday life with us

The daily life in the Scope Clinic is characterized by a high patient flow and variation in tasks and functions. It demands your ability to keep overview, prioritize, and make professionally well-founded decisions. We share responsibility for creating coherent patient pathways with high professional quality.

We receive patients from both medical and surgical specialties and have close interdisciplinary collaboration with several of the hospital's inpatient departments.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Thrives with short patient pathways and a varied day, where you manage to stay calm and keep an overview
  • Communicates clearly and empathetically and can create security and trust with patients, even in brief contact
  • Is professionally curious, takes responsibility for own development, and actively contributes to shared learning and knowledge sharing
  • Shares responsibility for good collaboration and contributes to a safe, respectful, and well-functioning working environment
  • Is reliable and takes responsibility for joint task solving

With us you can look forward to

  • A specialized department with high professionalism, clear expectations, and focus on quality in patient pathways.
  • A structured onboarding process with a designated mentor who supports your professional and personal development.
  • Close and engaged collaboration across professions and departments.
  • A varied daily life with opportunities for influence, responsibility, and development of your skills within endoscopy.
  • A work environment characterized by professional pride, engagement, openness, and honest dialogue – where there is also room for humor and good collegiality.

We work based on the motto “Patients first – the staff always.” For us, this means that high quality in patient pathways goes hand in hand with a good working environment. We prioritize clear planning, professional sparring, and shared responsibility, so we create the best framework for both patients and staff.
