Nursing Home Søbo seeks a social and health care assistant for day shift

We are looking for a social and health care assistant who would like to become part of our community at Søbo.

We are a close-knit staff group who help each other and value our differences and multidisciplinary collaboration. Of course, we ensure you receive a good introduction and settle in well into everyday life with us.

We are based in Bogense on Nordfyn with a sea view and a lovely large garden. We are a relatively small nursing home with 18 beds, but facing an exciting expansion with three temporary respite beds and a further six nursing home beds. Here there is room to dream – and the opportunity to get a little lost in the basement's many square meters (speaking from experience!).

We are proud of the high well-being among both residents and staff, and this is something we actively prioritize. We work person-centred and base ourselves on each individual's wishes and needs. We use, among other things, the Flower, the conflict ladder, and the iceberg as shared professional tools.

Three times a week we have multidisciplinary triage, where we consult, share observations and find good solutions together.

We are also proud of our collaboration with the local community. We have 14 volunteers in the house who contribute with everything from creative days and pancake baking to outings and events.

We are looking for a colleague who

• is trained as a social and health care assistant
• can work independently and take responsibility for their health care tasks
• uses their professional expertise and actively contributes to multidisciplinary collaboration
• is cooperative and keen to help make colleagues excel

It is important to us that you want to help maintain our good culture. With us it's okay to have an off day, we don't have to be the same, and we remember that we are professionals when we go to work.

We also prioritize the community outside daily operations. We hold one to two staff events per year, where we have, among other things, gone out for meals, bowling, and a bison safari. We like each other – and hope you would like to be part of it.

Practical information

• The position is 32 hours per week on day shift
• Weekend shifts on even weeks (note changes to the week from next year)
• Start date as soon as possible or no later than January 1, 2027

Salary and employment terms according to the current collective agreement. Expected salary range will be provided at the first interview. Final salary is determined based on qualifications and experience and after specific negotiation with the trade union.

Criminal background check and references will be obtained before employment.
