Nutrition Assistant or Catering Trainee

Nutrition assistant- or catering apprentice for Svendborg Vocational School- & Gymnasiums

We are seeking an engaged and capable nutrition assistant- or catering apprentice as of 1 January 2027 or earlier for our canteens.

The school has 2 canteens located at 2 different addresses in Svendborg. We prepare food for the school's students, teachers and other staff. In addition, we have external customers who host various events in our canteens.

Do you have an interest in food, health and hygiene? Do you approach tasks with positive energy? Then you are the one we would like to hire.

Your training during the apprenticeship will take place through participation in the following tasks:

• Work organization and planning of the day's work in the canteens' kitchens.
• Preparation of hot and cold meals, salads in the canteen, as well as dishwashing in the different departments.
• Sales of hot and cold meals in connection with daily operations, as well as at meetings and events under the school's auspices.
• Serving external events in the canteens, etc.
• Menu planning, purchasing and stock ordering in collaboration with colleagues and the supervisor.
• Cashier duties and balancing the till after the day's work.
• Active participation in the canteen's own quality control.

• Enjoys cooking from scratch
• Has a good sense of order
• Speaks and understands Danish

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement.
