Occupational therapist with expertise in neurology and complex pain

Are you keen to make a difference together with ambitious colleagues in the Rehabilitation Unit at Randers Health Center?

We are seeking, as of February 1, 2027, an occupational therapist with experience in both neurology, the complex pain area and functional disorders. The position is 37 hours per week, fixed-term until January 31, 2029 with the possibility of extension. You will be employed in a self-directed position. Working hours are generally on weekdays during daytime.

In the Rehabilitation Unit we are 38 employees consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a nurse, a dietitian, care pathway coordinators and a development consultant.

In the Rehabilitation Unit we work with rehabilitation after the Health Act §140 and rehabilitative interventions under §119 within lumbar back, diabetes, COPD, cancer and heart disease.

You will become part of an interdisciplinary group consisting of physiotherapists and occupational therapists, which undertakes rehabilitation interventions for citizens with complex pain issues and functional disorders. In addition, you will be part of our neurological team, which consists of physiotherapists and occupational therapists as well as a care pathway coordinator. Across both areas, we collaborate closely to create cohesive and meaningful rehabilitation pathways for the citizens.

Your tasks are expected to be evenly distributed between the two areas. In both areas, the tasks will include rehabilitation of citizens with a focus on mastery, balance of activities, functional ability and participation in everyday and working life.

The citizen groups will often be engaged in vocational assessment or returning to the labor market in parallel with the rehabilitation program, hence there will be collaboration with Job Randers.

You should have

• Experience in neurorehabilitation
• Experience with complex pain issues as well as functional disorders
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration across professional groups and sectors in complex rehabilitation programs.
• Strong relational and collaboration skills in working with citizens with complex functional impairments.

Rehabilitative approach focusing on the citizen's resources, goals, mastery and active participation in their own course.
