About the job

Are you motivated to drive development and deliver results through others? Do you want a central leadership role in a professional area undergoing continual change? Then you may be our new area manager for Project and Road Technology.

The Danish Road Directorate is a geographically dispersed organization with offices and activities in large parts of the country. The majority of employees in Project and Road Technology have their place of work in Skanderborg. This also applies to the Director of Operations and Technical, whom you report to.

  • can create good framework conditions for your area and focus on ensuring deliveries for the many projects within the agreed economy and time, while the area's employees experience job satisfaction and high well-being

It is an advantage if you have civil engineering industry experience, but regardless of background we will ensure a warm welcome to the position and give you a thorough introduction to the tasks.

About us

The Operations and Technical Division is run as a matrix organization with five areas and employs in total around 600 employees and associated consultants. The tasks are many and the expectations are large. The Danish Road Directorate works every day to create coherence for the many road users who use the Danish state roads. We strive for solutions with a balanced quality, where safety, mobility, sustainability and financial responsibility go hand in hand.

In this way we contribute to greener traffic and ensure that society gets the most value from the investments in infrastructure. It requires skilled employees who can balance mobility, environment and road safety.
