Care Assistant at Forsorgshjemmet Aas – permanent position

Forsorgshjemmet Aas seeks a care assistant for a permanent position of 37 hours per week with day and evening shifts.

Aas is a service under the Social Services Act § 110 in the North Jutland Region, located between Thisted and Vilsund. The target group is people who are homeless or in functional homelessness, often with substance abuse issues and other social challenges.

Your tasks

You participate in the daily work with care, practical support and relationship work together with the rest of the staff in the house. The tasks include among other things to:

• Support residents in everyday routines and practical tasks.
• Contribute to activities, socializing and community.
• Create safe and trusting relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues on each resident's needs and agreements.
• Contribute with relevant observations and documentation.

We expect that you

• Have experience with or an interest in working with socially vulnerable people.
• Meet residents respectfully and can work with clear boundaries.
• Are stable, responsible and good at collaborating.
• Can maintain calm and overview in an unpredictable daily life.
• Actively participate in both practical tasks and socializing with the residents.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary staff group with opportunities for sparring and support in task solving.

Practical information

The position is permanent and 37 hours per week. The working hours include day and evening shifts.

Start date: 1/12-26.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement for care and pedagogue assistants as well as pedagogical assistants entered into with 3F, The Social Pedagogues and FOA.
