About the job

Would you like to help ensure a stable operation of Aarhus' wastewater transport system – and at the same time contribute to the development of future maintenance?

We are looking for a dedicated and structured operations coordinator for Transport in Climate and Sewage.

You will be an important link between our field sewerage operators, the daily operation and the many partners around our transport system. Your main task will be to create an overview, prioritize efforts and ensure that tasks are followed through.

At the same time you will be part of our development towards a more data-based and systematic approach to operation and maintenance.

The position is 37 hours per week. The field colleagues mainly work Monday–Thursday 07:00–15:00 and Friday 07:00–14:30. There is potential for flexibility in work scheduling so everyday life can fit together – both regarding tasks and private life.

You will have a central role in the daily operation

As an operations coordinator you help ensure that our transport system functions stably and efficiently.

Our sewerage operators work largely independently with their tasks. Your role is to support daily operation, create coherence across and step in when tasks or operational challenges require coordination, prioritization or sparring.

You will among other things work with

  • Coordinating and prioritizing daily operation and maintenance , where SCADA and our maintenance system are central tools.
  • Collaboration and sparring with sewerage operators, colleagues, workshops and suppliers about daily operation and the solutions needed to make it work.
  • Follow-up, data and documentation , so we have the necessary overview and basis for efficient and safe operation.
  • Continuous improvements and smaller development projects , where you contribute to developing our work processes and the way we work with operation and maintenance.

At the same time you will have the opportunity to contribute to our work with more data-based maintenance, where we continually develop methods, systems and workflows. Here you will have the opportunity to bring your own experiences into play and help shape how we work in the future.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who thrive close to the operation and can create structure and direction in a daily life where planned tasks and urgent challenges must go hand in hand.

You have experience from a technical operations or maintenance organization and are used to coordinating tasks and collaborating with different disciplines.

We place particular emphasis on you

  • create overview and structure and can prioritize when several things require attention at the same time
  • have technical understanding and interest in operation and maintenance and are curious about using systems and data in everyday life
  • enjoy working with people and many contact points and can collaborate across different disciplines
  • take initiative and follow tasks through and contribute positively to the community – preferably with humor.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the utility, wastewater or process sector, but it is not essential. The most important is that you have experience with technical operation and maintenance and can translate that into coordination, overview and action in daily life.

You do not need to know our facility from day one

The transport system and our workflows have to be learned. Therefore you will receive a thorough introduction to our facilities, systems and methods, with close sparring from experienced colleagues.

As you learn the operation, you will gradually take on more responsibility and the opportunity to shape both the daily operation and the development of our maintenance.

What you get with us

You will have a role close to the real operation, where your work can be felt in everyday life.

We offer, among other things

  • a central role in an important societal task
  • thorough introduction and close sparring with experienced colleagues
  • a wide range of contacts and a varied daily work
  • opportunity to influence the development of our operation and maintenance
  • professional and personal development opportunities
  • an informal working environment with high professionalism and room for humor

How to apply for the position

Can you see yourself as the one who creates overview and gets people, systems and tasks to hang together? Then we look forward to hearing from you.
