Are you interested in Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure or VmWare – or all of them? And would you like to work with infrastructure and operations of complex IT solutions that make a difference to society as well as private companies? Then you might be Netcompany's new Operations Engineer.

Responsibilities and technologies

Netcompany Operations consists of different teams of specialists and generalists who work with operations in various technical areas, such as Linux/Oracle, Windows, Cloud and Infrastructure, including networks, servers, backup and storage.

Based on your technical interests, you will become part of one of our operations teams, where you will be responsible for your own tasks in close collaboration with your colleagues to deliver large operations projects to the team's customers. You will learn from the best in your field, but we also expect you to bring a solid professional background so we can learn from you.

Your tasks will vary depending on which of our operations areas you have an interest in and become part of. Typical tasks may include:

• Daily operation of one or more solutions, including ensuring continuous and correct monitoring and backup, as well as scripting and tuning of the operational platform
• Participation in project work, such as large upgrade, establishment and transition projects
• Security, troubleshooting and optimization
• Cluster administration

As part of our Infrastructure team, you may also work on maintaining our administrative network (LAN) as well as maintaining, improving and managing infrastructure platforms.

About you

All of Netcompany Operations have an IT technical background and a strong interest in IT operations. As our new colleague, we therefore would like you to possess similar qualities.

Additionally, we imagine that you

• Are a Diploma engineer, bachelor, master's, or have a similar qualification level in IT.
• Are a recent graduate or have a couple of years of experience in a similar role.
• Are motivated to deliver optimal business- and society-critical solutions.

Regardless of the above, you are encouraged to apply if you have other relevant educational background and/or professional experiences from a similar role.

It is a condition of employment that you can obtain and maintain PET security clearance.
