Operations Manager / Plant Manager

As Operations Manager/Plant Manager at Anonym client you will have a central role in turning plans and opportunities into a well-functioning company with a focus on stable processes, good agreements and sound finances.

Your role

The position has broad responsibility to establish and develop a new industrial company - from construction and commissioning of a physical facility to commercial operation and ongoing optimization. You will have an independent management space and must be able to create direction in an environment where several tracks are developed simultaneously.

You work closely with the group's other companies, which contribute with market, customers and sales. At the same time you become an important partner for external actors and for the employees who will be involved in building the daily operation.

We are looking for

• You drive the establishment and commissioning of the plant and contribute to ensuring that regulatory processes and relevant requirements are handled responsibly.
• You build a customer and supplier base and enter into significant agreements with a focus on volume, profitability and long-term operation.
• You ensure a stable and efficient operation of the process plant with a focus on capacity utilization, quality and continuous improvements.
• You establish a relevant organization and create clear frameworks, priorities and workflows for the team.
• You monitor economic performance through structure, key figures and reporting, so decisions are made on an informed basis.
• You collaborate with the group's companies to exploit market potential and create coherence between operations, customers and sales.

You are a business-oriented leader with operational understanding and a desire to build something from scratch. You can maintain an overview in complex processes, translate ideas into practical solutions and create momentum, even when not all parameters are defined from the start.

You work in a structured and decisive way, while being curious about new opportunities to develop the business and improve operations. You thrive in collaboration with technical, commercial and external stakeholders and are able to build trust through a clear and proper approach.

Your qualifications

• You have a relevant professional or commercial background and experience from roles close to operations, plants or industrial production.
• You preferably have experience with waste, biogas, pre-treatment, process plants or related industries.
• You have been involved in establishing, building up or developing new activities, plants or business areas.
• You understand the interplay between commercial agreements, operational drift and financial performance.
• You have experience in creating structure, following up on results and leading employees or partners in an operational daily life.
• You communicate clearly, take responsibility and can build good relationships both internally and externally.
