Operations Manager for HJHansen Recycling Group East | AMBIZZION

Are you ready to lead the operations at one of the Nordic region's leading recycling companies?

On behalf of HJHansen Recycling Group, AMBIZZION is seeking an experienced and decisive operations manager for a central leadership role with responsibility for the operations at the company1s sites on Zealand.

You will become an important sparring partner for the Production Director and will have a strong influence on operations, development and optimization in a company that plays an active role in the green transition.

About the position

As Operations Manager you will have the overall responsibility for operations at HJHansen Recycling Group1s sites on Zealand, primarily based at Pr1vestenen and Korsl1r, with ongoing meetings at the head office in Odense.

You will have direct managerial responsibility for the foremen at Pr1vestenen and in Kors5r and must ensure an efficient, safe and profitable operation across the organization.

Your key areas of responsibility

Operations and optimization

• Ensure efficient and profitable operations at the company1s sites
• Plan and coordinate production in relation to incoming materials and distribution
• Ensure accurate inventory management and efficient material flows
• Monitor KPIs, finances and production costs
• Drive continuous improvements of processes, workflows and equipment

Leadership and the working environment

• Lead and develop the operations organization through visible and hands-on leadership
• Create engagement, collaboration and results across locations
• Contribute to recruitment, skills development and retention
• Strengthen the safety culture and ensure a high occupational health and safety standard
• Project management

Quality, environment and collaboration

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, environmental requirements and internal procedures
• Support the company1s ESG initiatives and sustainable development
• Be the link to affiliated companies and sites
• Contribute to cross-functional development and optimization projects

Your profile

We imagine that you come from a production, industrial or operations company, where you have documented experience in delivering results through people management and strong operational understanding.

In addition we would like you to have

• Several years of leadership experience
• Technical insight and a good understanding of production environments
• Be a machine engineer or have equivalent technical background
• Experience with process optimization and project management
• Work in a structured manner with KPIs, finances and performance tracking
• Solid IT skills
• Thrive in a role with many collaboration interfaces
• Hold a valid driving license category B

As a person you are action-oriented, robust and visible in your leadership. You create buy-in through clear communication, presence and the ability to translate plans into results.
