Operations Manager for pavements, facilities and transport

Do you want to be part of a close leadership team where we pull together? Nordsjællands Park & Vej (NSPV) is seeking an operations manager who can lead our employees with trust and integrity, and who is motivated by creating well-being and strong relationships. You will have daily responsibility for operations, facilities and maintenance in the road area as well as internal transport tasks.

You will be an active part of the management team, which consists of the director, technical manager and four operations managers in addition to you. We place a high value on integrity, collaboration and mutual help – even when it gets tough. Our common goal is to deliver the best service to citizens and owner municipalities.

Leadership and collaboration at the forefront

In daily work, your most important role is to ensure well-being in your team, so that together we solve the tasks on time and with high quality. Your primary tasks will be:

• Hands-on leadership: Daily management, motivation and development of about 20-25 employees.
• Professional collaboration and development: Close collaboration with our road engineer on task planning including the development of planning using digital solutions.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Sparring with the director, colleagues, administrations and external private suppliers and partners.
• Operations and financial management: Responsibility for budget follow-up, as well as planning and supervision of tasks in the field (sidewalks, roads including drainage).
• Winter service: Participation as on-call in a fixed duty roster (every 3 weeks).

Your profile

We are looking for a visible leader with impact who can create a good working environment. We imagine that you:

• Have management experience and knowledge of a politically governed organization.
• Very preferably professional knowledge or insight into the field.
• Are skilled at communicating and collaborating with all kinds of people.
• Have experience with operations planning, financial management and administrative IT systems.
• Have a driving license and be able to provide your own car (travel allowance is provided).

About NSPV

NSPV was established in 2014 and is a cross-municipal §60 cooperation between Fredensborg and Helsingør municipalities with about 120 employees. The vast majority of operating tasks are transferred from the owner municipalities and are carried out by NSPV in a mix of in-house operations and external contractors after tender. You will be based at the equipment yard in Kvistgård and report directly to the director.
