Team Leader for Marketing - set direction and make marketing happen

Do you have broad marketing expertise, a natural leadership drive and a desire to be personally involved in the execution?

At Idealcombi we are seeking a team leader who can lead the daily marketing efforts and at the same time actively participate in the tasks.

You will be responsible for a well-functioning team consisting of two skilled marketing coordinators and yourself. The team already has strong competencies across marketing disciplines and a good internal collaboration. Your task will be to set direction, prioritize efforts and bring the team’s different strengths into play as effectively as possible.

About the position

As team leader you will have the daily responsibility for the employees and tasks in the marketing department. You will create an overview, ensure progress and follow activities and projects from idea to finished result.

You will be a hands-on leader and professional sparring partner, but you should also be eager to work with marketing yourself. This could include campaigns, website, content, sales materials, trade shows or follow-up on digital activities.

In short, you should both be able to lead the marketing effort and help execute it.

You will report to the HR & Quality Manager and will work closely with, among others, Sales, Product Development, HR, Production, Service, Management, as well as our English-speaking marketing coordinator.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Prioritization and coordination of the department’s tasks and resources
• Planning and execution of campaigns and market activities
• Responsibility for website, digital platforms and digital visibility
• Daily leadership, sparring and development of the marketing team
• Work with SEO, lead generation, performance and marketing data
• Development of content as well as sales, product and marketing materials
• Planning of trade shows, events and other activities
• Ensure consistent communication and visual identity
• Support for sales and employer branding
• Coordination and knowledge sharing with our English-speaking marketing coordinator

You will also be a sparring partner for the management on questions about marketing, branding, communication and market development.

Your profile

You are an experienced marketing professional with a broad understanding of the marketing toolbox. You do not need to be a specialist in all disciplines, but you must be able to see the connection between brand, content, digital channels, campaigns, data and sales support.

You manage to set direction and create clear priorities, while involving the team and creating ownership.

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant education in marketing, communications or similar
• Have several years of experience with a wide range of marketing tasks
• May have experience with personnel leadership, professional leadership or coordinating employees, but this is not a requirement. The most important is that you have the desire and potential to take responsibility and develop in the role
• Have an understanding of branding, campaigns, content and digital marketing
• Have commercial understanding and see marketing as an active support for sales
• Work in a structured way and have the impact to ensure progress
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

If you have experience from a manufacturing or B2B company or with marketing of technical products, that is an advantage but not a requirement.
