About the job
Are you motivated by identifying risks that could threaten future water and wastewater supply, and translate them into concrete recommendations and decisions that increase supply security?
At HOFOR we work every day to secure critical infrastructure that millions rely on. As a risk analyst you will have a central role in identifying, analyzing and assessing risks across our water supply. You translate complex risk pictures into a decision basis that contributes to a robust and future-proof supply.
Be part of creating a common foundation for risk management
As a risk analyst you will be part of the Data & Assets section in the Water Analysis area. Here you will, together with the Risk Manager in the drinking water area, be responsible for driving and facilitating risk analyses across the drinking water and wastewater area across facilities and projects. You should also contribute to the development and optimization of a more consistent and systematic approach to risk management in the area. In this role you will be close to the business and support the entire Directorate Water & Urban Development with qualified assessments of risks and risk-reducing measures.
You will work closely with both specialists, project managers, the operations organization and management, where you contribute with analyses and assessments that support the decision-making processes.
Your main tasks will be
- Plan, drive and facilitate cross-disciplinary risk analyses
- Facilitate the work of identifying, analyzing and evaluating risks across facilities, supply areas and projects
- Apply and further develop methods and tools for risk management, in cooperation with the group's Risk Manager
- Perform risk reporting and support colleagues in translating risks into a decision basis
- Support prioritization of risk-reducing measures
You combine analytical abilities with solid collaboration skills
We imagine that you have experience with risk management, preferably from a technical or infrastructure-heavy organization, and are motivated to create overview in complex problems. At the same time you have a relevant higher education such as an engineer, economist or other technical or analytical education.
In addition we see that you
- Have at least three years of relevant professional experience with risk analyses and risk assessments
- Have experience in driving and facilitating cross-disciplinary processes
- Can translate analyses and data into clear recommendations and a decision basis
- Have an understanding of security of supply and critical infrastructure
- Communicate clearly in Danish, both orally and in writing
Experience from the utility sector, infrastructure, facilities or another complex technical organization is an advantage. The same goes for experience with setting up simple, quantitative risk models.
As a person you work systematically and methodically, and you thrive on creating direction in complex contexts. You are analytically strong and able to identify patterns, dependencies and consequences across disciplines. At the same time you are a skilled facilitator who creates constructive dialogue and involves relevant stakeholders so that risks are illuminated from multiple perspectives.
Your skilled colleagues are ready to welcome you
As a risk analyst you will be part of the newly established area, Water Analysis. You will join the Water Data & Assets section, consisting of 13 skilled colleagues with different backgrounds and experiences. In addition you will be part of a professional network of Risk Managers in HOFOR.
We specifically use diversity to find better solutions. The culture is characterized by professional curiosity, cross-disciplinary collaboration and trust. With us you will have the opportunity to bring your professionalism and your perspectives into play, ask with curiosity and challenge constructively, so that our analyses and decisions can become better. At the same time you will help shape how we work together in a new section.
In this role we expect you to be able to challenge assumptions constructively, surface uncertainties and contribute to solid decision bases. You will have a broad touchpoint in the organization and the opportunity to contribute to the development of our approach to risk management.
We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of home office by agreement with your closest manager. With us there is room for you and to have a sustainable work life.
