Pedagogue with special educational competencies sought for lower primary and the SFO Artium Brande

We are looking for an educator 30-35 hours/week.

About the position

You will have an exciting and varied daily life with tasks both in the lower primary and in the after-school program (SFO), and you will work with children who have special challenges and need extra support, structure, clear adults and in periods sheltered environments.

You will become an important part of the children's day – both in the school part and the after-school part, where community, learning, well-being and play are in focus.

Your tasks will include

• Work with children with special needs and challenges.
• Create structure, predictability and clear boundaries for children.
• Produce individualized schedules, pictograms and other support to underpin the children's everyday life.
• Work relationally and acknowledge with focus on the child's perspective and resources.
• Find pedagogical solutions and opportunities when a child or several children need something different.
• Contribute to the children's well-being, development and learning
• Actively participate in team collaboration and parent collaboration
• Be involved in creating a community-building, inclusive and safe environment for all children.

We are looking for an educator who

• Has special educational competencies or a strong desire and motivation to work within the special education field
• Is curious, patient, acknowledging and adaptable
• Is good at having a Plan B ready.
• Wants to think creatively about teaching activities.
• Has an eye for both the individual child and the child's place in the community
• Wants to bring their professional and personal competencies into play across school and SFO
• Is present, clear and strong in relationships
• Can take initiative and work independently – but also thrive in teams
• Contributes with a good mood and engagement in everyday life
