Educator for 25 hours at Svendborg Juniorklub

Svendborg Junior Club is a leisure offer for children and young people in the entire municipality. Here children and young people from different classes, genders and ethnicities meet; it is an opportunity to meet in new contexts. With an acknowledging and respectful approach to the club's users, we want to create a safe environment where mistakes are also a natural path to life’s learning.

Knowledge, well-being and trust must go hand in hand and be supported by skilled and engaged employees who together with the management form the professional organization around the children. Everyone should feel welcomed, because we see strength in diversity and place emphasis on everyone treating each other with friendliness and respect. There are three departments in Svendborg Junior Club, of which Holbøllsminde is one, Værestedet and Centrum are the others.

Svendborg Junior Club, Holbøllsminde division, is a leisure offer for children in 4th-6th grade, where the children meet across classes, schools and ages. Here the youths meet in new contexts. The club offers many different activities and possibilities. There are always adults present, which can contribute to giving the children a sense of security and create a club that is a good place to be.

In everyday life there are opportunities to play PlayStation, outdoor activities, creative workshop, pillow fights/stingball and board games and much more. Every day there is afternoon food, and you should also be keen to help make it.

During the year there are various tournaments and fixed traditions during Fastelavn (Shrove Tuesday), Halloween, Christmas and other events.

Practical information

Your primary division will be Holbøllsminde club, but with the possibility of being moved if necessary to one of the other clubs. The club's opening hours are as a rule when school closes. Our opening hours in Holbøllsminde are at 14.00 - 17.00 but since there is cross-organisation cooperation, there may be days until 19.00 and 20:00 . In holidays we are open from 9.00-16.30.

Salary and terms of employment

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically lies between 39,340 and 50,672 DKK per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday pay and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special payments. It is important to note that your specific salary is determined by your experience, seniority and competences and is agreed upon in negotiation with the relevant trade union.

HR collects criminal record and child protection checks for applicants. It is a condition of employment that the criminal record and the child protection checks are satisfactory in relation to the position. The assessment is performed by the Legal Department.
