You have experience working in integrated early childhood education, and know that it takes a village to create good childhoods. Your communication is clear with children, colleagues and parents, and your commitment to pedagogy, planning and all the practical matters is unmistakable.

The children in Kirkeby Nursery have the greatest need for caring, empathetic and present adults. Adults who can be close while keeping an overview in a changing everyday life. It comes completely natural to you to be affirming, and you are a 100-meter-master at mirroring children, also those who need clear, but loving boundaries.

Responsibility permeates everything you touch. You take your responsibility as a credible adult seriously, and it is important to you that agreements and decisions are kept. You have a black belt in collaboration, and you are able to have the necessary - and at times - difficult care conversations with parents.

The formal part

We are seeking an educator for the nursery (vuggestuen) 37 h./wk.

You should start January 1, 2027.

You must be able to show us a diploma as an educator.

Employment is carried out in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with BUPL

The payroll and personnel office will obtain a criminal record check and a child background check on the applicant who will be hired. It is a condition for employment that the criminal record check is satisfactory for the position. The assessment is carried out by the Legal Office in collaboration with the Director of Children and Youth.

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically ranges between 39,340 and 50,672 DKK per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday allowance and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special pay. It is important to note that your concrete salary is determined by your experience, seniority and competencies and is negotiated with the relevant trade union.
