Then maybe you are the one we are looking for for a permanent 37-hour position at Trekløveren's Kindergarten.

About us

Trekløveren is an age-integrated institution with about 145 children and 35 staff.

We are surrounded by forest and the Søndermarken district near Vejle and have fantastic facilities, which daily are put to use in supporting an exciting and diverse outdoor and child life.

The parent group is broad, from Vejle and represented through more than 20 different languages, nationalities and cultures. We value our diverse user group, cultivate community and the relational and mutual respect, and we work together to ensure that Trekløveren’s framework clearly supports that the children thrive, have good play and learning environments, and have the opportunity to be independent in their own lives.

Your (and our) everyday task

You must, together with your colleagues, create safe, developing and inclusive play and learning environments based on the strengthened pedagogical curriculum. You must translate pedagogical knowledge into qualified actions and reflect on the significance of your practice for the children's well-being, learning and development.

With inspiration from Tea Thyrre Sørensen's pedagogical perspectives, we are concerned that all children need an Alfred – a safe adult whom the child can seek support from and gain courage to explore the world. You must be able to be both beacon and caravan leader and create clear frameworks and direction, as well as attune yourself to the child’s feelings and needs and support the child in finding calm and developing self-regulation.

We expect that you

• Consciously work with relationships and views of children and meet each child with curiosity, care and respect for the child's perspective and prerequisites.
• Take pedagogical responsibility for play and communities. You can participate in and develop play, follow the children's initiatives and create opportunities for participation so that all children feel they belong.
• Plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical processes based on the needs of the children’s group, the curriculum themes and your professional observations.
• Support language, formation and participation and see diversity as a strength in the children's shared learning environment.
• Actively contribute to the professional community through professional reflection, sparring and a committed collaboration with colleagues, parents and cross-disciplinary partners.
• Lead, stand beside and behind the children – depending on what the situation calls for. You must be able to present professional clarity, take initiative and at the same time be curious about others' perspectives.

Additionally you should have humor, imagination and courage to explore the world together with the children. We do not expect you to be able to build a crooked tower in three seconds, but that you know when to "build" further – and when the child itself should have space to try.

Employment terms

There is a permanent 37-hour position with start on 11 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

The position is located in the kindergarten - with overall employment in the whole house.

Salary according to New Pay and current collective agreement

Information about starting salary

Employment is subject to the collective agreement for pedagogues at day-care institutions, after-school programs, clubs etc., §§4-9. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is 32,928 DKK / falls in the range of 32,928 DKK to 37,874 DKK depending on seniority. It should be noted that final placement, including the collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
