At Hillerød Day Treatment School we are seeking an educator for our lower-secondary team in the Store Dyrehave School department.

You will become part of a school that within the coming year will be gathered in new premises in Alsønderup, and which at the same time faces a joint competence development program in neuroaffective developmental psychology in collaboration with Susan Hart.

In the coming year, the school's two departments will be gathered in Alsønderup in a newly renovated school with modern teaching environments and new outdoor areas.

At the same time we face a joint competence development program for all staff in collaboration with Susan Hart.

The ambition is to strengthen our shared professional stance and create a clear link between competence development, supervision and daily practice around the children.

Susan Hart and her colleagues are also expected to be responsible for future supervision at the school, so a consistent thread between education, supervision and the daily work with the children is created.

Hillerød Day Treatment School is a day-treatment and school offering for children and young people with social, emotional and developmental challenges.

You will be attached to our lower-secondary group at Store Dyrehave School, where the student group is small, and where relationships, well-being and development are a central part of the pedagogical task.

Each team consists of about 10 students and 5 permanent adults. It provides opportunities for close collaboration, joint reflection and a strong focus on the individual student.

You will become part of a close and committed collaboration between teachers, pedagogues, psychologist and family therapists around the young people.

As an educator you will have a central role in creating structure, safety and opportunities for student participation in both teaching, breaks and other activities.

You will also become the contact person for 1-2 students and have an important role in collaboration with their families and networks.

We are ambitious for the youth, but we also believe that humor, helpfulness and strong collegial communities are an important prerequisite for succeeding with the task. We are looking for an educator who

• is focused on children and youths' well-being, development and participation opportunities
• can build strong relationships with young people, even when they have trouble believing in adults
• can create clear, predictable frames and at the same time meet the individual student with flexibility and curiosity
• sees relationship work as a core task
• has an eye for the youths' social, emotional and personal development
• can work with motivation, identity and belief in one's own possibilities
• thrives in a close interdisciplinary collaboration
• can stay calm in conflicts and maintain the relationship, even when situations are difficult
• wishes to be an active part of the school's continued development

Experience from the special education field is advantageous. The most important, however, is that you are curious about the youths, the relationships and the interdisciplinary collaboration. With us you get
