Educator for Lillely – close to play, relationships and the community

Do you want to join when 3-4-year-old children play, explore the world, make new friends and develop together? At Børnehuset Lillely we are seeking a trained educator for 37 hours for one of our kindergarten groups.

With us you will have a everyday life close to the children and their play – and a workplace where we are curious about our practice and together find out what works best for the children.

A daily life close to the children

As an educator at Lillely you are with them when play arises, when a child needs help finding their place in the community, and when the group needs help moving forward if something becomes difficult.

We see play as an important path to well-being, development and community, and we work to ensure that all children have the opportunity to participate. You will be working with 3-4-year-old children, so it is important that you can see yourself in this specific age group and rejoice in their curiosity and emerging independence.

We develop our pedagogy together

At Lillely we use structure as a pedagogical tool, but we adjust it when the group of children or the individual child needs something else. We regularly pause and ask:

What works? What do we see in the children? And what can we do differently?

We place emphasis on professional reflection and development of our practice. You will have close sparring with colleagues, a resource educator and educational leadership, among other things through observations and joint reflection.

Our group of children is diverse, and therefore we also have a special focus on language. We work to create good language environments throughout the day, because language is important for children's participation in relationships and communities.

A children's house with room for both children and adults

Lillely consists of three kindergarten groups – of which one is a large-child group – and three nursery groups.

We are a children's house where community, well-being and development apply to both children and adults. Here there is room to ask a colleague for advice, share a sense of puzzlement and together find a new path when something does not function as expected.

• are an educated educator and want to work with 3-4-year-olds
• can see the opportunities in play and create good play communities
• are present and curious about the individual child and the child group
• can work in a structured way and at the same time be flexible
• want to reflect on your own practice together with colleagues
• want to contribute to the continued development of our pedagogical practice.

Practical information

• The job is full-time with start 1 Dec or by agreement.
• Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement.
