We are looking for a pedagogue for Mosede SFO

We are not just looking for a pedagogue.

We are looking for someone who wants to help create an SFO that children remember with joy. Someone who likes to be at the center of it all – in play, in relationships and in the moments when something works. And also when things get a bit more tricky.

Because that is what it is like to work with children.

Some days start with a plan and end up somewhere completely different. Other days go exactly as planned – which is almost a bit suspicious.

With us there is room for both.

We are looking for a pedagogue working 25-32 hours per week , we will find the right number of hours together - but who wants to become part of our SFO and the primary school. You will become an important adult for the children and have the opportunity to put your own mark on everyday life.

We believe that children do well when they can. Therefore we are focused on creating frameworks, relationships and communities where the children can succeed and feel that they belong.

It requires adults who are close by.

Adults who can see the child who maybe stands a bit on the edge of the community. Adults who can help when a conflict has grown bigger than it needed to be. And adults who dare to enter into play – even if you afterwards discover that you have been appointed princess, goalkeeper or boss of the whole space station.

With us you must be able to be both pedagogue and human

We have many different activities and opportunities in the SFO. We work with creative activities, movement, outdoor life, workshops and community across.

We like it when a pedagogue comes up with an idea and says

“Shall we try this?”

Because maybe we should.

You do not need to know everything. Maybe you are good at building things, playing music, making a fire, organizing tournaments, drawing, climbing, telling stories or getting a group of children to forget that they should have gone home half an hour ago.

The most important is that you have something you are passionate about – and a desire to share it with the children.

You will become part of both school and SFO

We work closely across school and SFO, and you become part of a team around the children.

As a pedagogue you will among other things help create good transitions between school and leisure time, support the children's well-being and be an important adult in both teaching and SFO-time.

You will also collaborate closely with teachers, pedagogues and parents.

We believe that children experience the greatest coherence when the adults around them do so too.

Therefore we talk to each other. Even when something is difficult.

We would like to get better

We are not finished.

This is actually an important point.

We continuously work on our pedagogical practice and on becoming wiser about what works for the children. Among other things through action learning, where we investigate our own practice, try something out and together look at what happens.

That also means that you get the opportunity to influence the way we do things.

We do not expect you to come with all the answers.

We hope you bring some good questions.

And it should be nice to go to work

We take our task seriously.

But we do not necessarily take ourselves seriously.

There should be room for professionalism, reflection and ambitions – but also for a laugh in the hallway, a cup of coffee that gets cold because you were interrupted four times, and the stories you can only understand if you work somewhere with 6-10 year old children.

We would like to be a place where people help each other, where you can ask for help, and where there is room to be new.

A place where you do not need to have everything under control all the time.

Just that you want to get a handle on it together.

You are a trained pedagogue.

You want to work closely with the children and be an active part of their school and leisure life.

You can build relationships, you can collaborate, and you have an eye for both the individual child and the community.

You may already have a lot of experience.

Or perhaps you are relatively new and come with energy, curiosity and a desire to try yourself out.

The most important for us is not whether you fit perfectly into a particular box.

In fact we would rather avoid too many boxes.

We would prefer to have people who can participate in creating something together.

The small print

Your salary is negotiated according to the agreement with your trade union and is based on your qualifications.

A criminal record check and references will be obtained in connection with the employment.

Interviews are held continuously.
