Educator for Skovsgaard Kindergarten and Nursery

Are you eager to get dirt under your nails, cook over a fire and give the children great experiences in nature? Then it might be you we are looking for!

We are seeking a pedagogue for 37 hours per week – preferably fewer hours if that suits you better. The position is in the kindergarten, but since we are a smaller institution,

would also have hours in the nursery.

We are a small integrated institution with about 8 nursery children and 17 kindergarten children, where presence, safety and community are important values. With us we know each other, help each other and emphasize that both children and adults feel like an important part of the house.

🌿 Nature as a part of everyday life 🌿

We are Grønne Spirer-certified, and nature occupies a lot in our pedagogical daily life. We plant potatoes, grow vegetables, pick berries and make our own jam. Once a week we cook over a fire, where the children are active participants and help peel, cut and prepare the food. We also like to make stinging nettle soup and use nature's possibilities year-round.

We love going out into our local area and giving the children experiences where they can explore, sense and be curious about the world around them.

We work from an appreciative approach with inspiration from ICDP, where good relationships, presence and positive interaction are fundamental.

We have a strong focus on the Strengthened Pedagogical Curriculum and on creating safe and developing learning environments, where play, communities and the individual child's well-being and development are at the center.

🌼 Who are you?

We hope you are a trained pedagogue who is passionate about working with children aged 0-6 years. You meet the children with recognition, care and presence and want to actively use nature in the pedagogical work. You are engaged, proactive and eager to contribute with your own ideas. You are curious about your own practice, can translate professional knowledge into action and want to contribute to a working community where we help each other and make each other look good.

Salary and employment terms
